Simon Metz is the Principal at River Road Consulting LLC. He is a leader and strategist with over 20 years of experience combining strategic, product, technology, big data, and operational expertise transforming enterprises, optimizing and leading delivery practices, and designing and directing mission-critical systems.

He has optimized business process, developed many enterprise software products and led agile programs to support the strategic direction of businesses all driven by data and analytics.

Simon has held leadership positions at some of the best known digital agencies in the US as well as at EMC Global Consulting and EY Consulting Groups’s Financial Services Office. He has led digital transformation engagements at some of the largest enterprises such as Anheuser-Busch, Dell EMC Technologies, JPMorgan Chase, GE, MassMutual, Christie’s, The Hartford Insurance Group, American Express, and Liberty Mutual, and has a wealth of experience across the financial services, CPG, manufacturing, media, and healthcare. Simon is based in New York and Connecticut and travels wherever client engagements require. He holds a BS Computer Science from Columbia University where he also worked in the DARPA Labs.
